Chelsea Karchon was born and raised in southeast Michigan. She graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s of science in physiology followed by her bachelors in nursing. She started her nursing career at the Detroit Medical Center on a cardiac unit. In addition, she was a pediatric nurse and worked in many different specialties within Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Her passion for dermatology grew when she began working in a dermatology clinic. While working as a nurse, she attended graduate school at the University of Michigan. After graduating, she moved to Washington for her comprehensive training in dermatology at Silver Falls Dermatology.
Chelsea played lacrosse in college and enjoys being active outdoors with her husband and puppy. She especially enjoys hiking and skiing in the nearby mountains.
