Cassandra started her nursing career as a Bone Marrow Transplant RN at the Beth Israel Deaconess in Boston. She then transitioned into the operating room where she practiced for many years before returning to school to become a nurse practitioner and eventually obtaining her Doctorate in Nursing.
Her passion is dermatology, and has been practicing in the specialty for 12 years. She has served as a reviewer for the Dermatology Nurses Association for many years. She enjoys all dermatology diagnosis, although specializes in acne, psoriasis, hidradinitis and rashes.
She has served as adjunct faculty at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Service (MCPHS) instructing nurse practitioners.
She grew up in New England and is enjoying exploring the West Coast. When she is not seeing patients, Cassandra enjoys hiking, gardening, and formulating soap and personal care products.
